I have never used Vista but I have been forced to perform 2 installations in the past years. As a whole things look fine and I find it easy to use, almost intuitive - with a few google searches I have found everything I have looked for.
Anyway, being a Linux user for life, I don't plan migrating to Vista, even though I use XP 2-3 times a year. Still, one thing struck me... When installing the previous versions of Windows, there have been always slogans of how fast the new version of Windows is... To my surprise, the installation of the new Vista did not say so...
Lately, I have found the reason why... It is definitely very slow. Slow in every way... I don't know what takes 15 GB to install on the hard disk... But it must be mostly garbage (besides the worms from the cracker, spy tools from the governemt and so on).
Now, I can't say this is a bug... Because this slowness is constant and does not seem to be something accidental.
I begin to worry that nothing can take me away from my great love - Xubuntu... Except the cheatings with my other girlfriend Zenwalk
